Work History

June 2011 – Present, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE SPECIAL ASSETS DIVISION, HeritageBank of the South (HBOS), Springfield, Georgia

Lead and manage the special assets team to conduct workouts on troubled and classified assets in a manner most beneficial to the Bank. Workouts mostly pertaining to residential and primary residence properties; I conducted Troubled Debt Restructuring (“TDR’s”) on all commercial related assets including executing forbearance agreements. I orchestrated in concert with the FDIC Loss Share liaison and the Banks CPA to ensure compliance when pertaining to the loans on the FDIC 4.15 schedule when filing the quarterly certificates and loss claims. I am a member of the Officers Loan Committee and co-chair the Special Assets Division Committee. We maximize the Bank’s return through the Loss Share agreements and maximize earnings with methodologies used to reduce the Bank exposure to additional classified assets by establishing policies and procedures which mold after the FDIC and OCC regulatory guidelines.

Contractor for the FDIC leading investigation cases in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships dealing primarily with bank closings. Work in concert with the Investigator in Charge and Legal Counsel to formulate claims for recovery. Lead and managed the commercial loan development department, verified underwriting/analysis process, analyzing financial statements focusing on the Debt to Income (DTI) and the Debt Servicing Ratio (DSR) were within policy guidelines. Verification with supporting documentation that the Global Cash Flow Analysis was performed with accuracy to ensure proper due diligence and credit administration policies were in compliance and assigning pricing and risk ratings to approved loans. I directed the Bank’s Commercial Lending Division with various functions supervising multiple lenders, credit administration, underwriting, risk management policies and a myriad of banking issues.
