Work
Experience:
May 2013-Dec 2013
GW Plastics
Tucson, AZ
Automation Technician
I serviced and maintained all Fanuc robots and associated robotic cells. I
assisted production by monitoring and making adjustments to our Phillips
robotic cells as well as maintained all automation equipment back in our
pack out or carton forming areas. I also did maintenance on everything from
facilities to answering calls on our plastic mold injection machines (Engle
and Van Dorn). I serviced our air compressors as well as our chill towers
and rooftop AC units and our evaporative coolers when time allowed. My main
focus however was our automation cell, as that is the department most
accountable for.

Jan. 2013- Apr. 2013
Ahresty (Honda foundry)
Wilmington, Ohio
Maintenance Technician
I was responsible for responding to all production calls on down equipment.
I completed all PM requests and wrote a detailed repair on what I found was
wrong with machines and equipment. I worked on everything from Hydraulic
cylinders and accumulators to Pneumatics, Fanuc and ABB robotics,
electrical, Mechanical, and I did fabrication and welding, and also
troubleshoot equipment to reduce downtime. I from time to time was called
to examine our X ray machines in quality and also repair any and all
conveyor systems in our plant. We had our own waste water treatment plant
and I tested the chemical ph for both the outgoing water as well as
conductivity coming into the plant. I was a millwright, electrician, welder
and all the above to our production facility.
Feb. 2012- Oct. 2012
Solon Energy Corp.
Tucson, AZ
Lead Maintenance Technician
I was responsible for all Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC problems and
repair. I handled 12 evaporative coolers and 20 industrial rooftop heat
pumps as well as the company chiller, fire and alarm systems as well as
computerized light and comfort controls throughout the building. I
supported all maintenance concerning production and all preventative
maintenance and repair on production machines. I repaired all minor
forklift repairs and routine maintenance, completed all fabrication of new
tables, parts and prototype equipment (mig arc welded). I was responsible
for total construction of interior offices for the front of our building
additions to include, drywall, electric etc. I was able to eliminate all
outside contractors by completing work in house using existing know how and
parts purchased locally. I did modern upgrades and improvements to the
plant electrical system and made our maintenance department return the
investment to the company versus being a bottom line expense or cost.

robotic punch presses, tig welders and press brakes. I facilitated all
repairs and create PM schedules on all equipment in the plant. We also had
3 big Mazak cnc machines (3 axis and 5 axis) an entire metal shop that has
lathes, drill presses etc. I did all ground, bldg. and facilities duties as
well. I serviced our own forklifts and company truck while also supporting
entire production operation to minimize downtime. I encompassed all I could
