Oversee complex accounting activities requiring full professional competency

Ensuring revenue is accrued in accordance to GAAP and within the contract guidelines. Averaging 35 active

projects between the Irvine and Los Angeles offices.

Provide financial and financial systems assistance to project managers and operating personnel

Make decisions and solve problems, maintain accounting and budgetary controls; project cost

control; revenue recognition; operations' financial reports; indirect expense analysis; contract support and

administration for one main office with one or more branch offices

Collaborate with Senior Management, Project Managers, and Corporate Accounting to identify risk on

projects and subsequently create a project level reserve and mitigation plan.

Works in concert with our operation managers and project managers to identify trends in the industry and

make recommendations on how to leverage individual contracts to maximum value

Monthly review of EAC and reporting of variances

Monthly review and reporting of Business Developments costs (roll up for Southern California)

Monthly review and reporting of project revenue averaging $1,500,000, project breakage, Work In Progress,

Accounts Receivable, and G&A cost analysis

Comprehensive reporting of all active projects for the Irvine and Los Angeles offices that incorporates

information from various systems to provide the Regional Controller with a full view of the project financials.

Successfully under went an accounting system conversion and trained/mentor fellow team members on

the new system

Supervision of 5 employees and responsible for their progression path. Successfully promoted two entry

level employees into supervisor positions.

Experienced very minimal employee turnover during my tenure as Supervisor

Minority Reporting and filing for Federal Contracts and for Municipalities
