Created, Upgraded, Merged and Maintained over 50 in-house database programs of varying complexities

that include add/edit/delete/report/upload/download functions. Consulting with internal customers to

find out their needs/wants is part of my responsibility.

Produced all the content in the fire weather website, averaging 100,000 hit a month. By using batch files and

other techniques, over 50 time-sensitive products such as routine forestry weather forecast, fire

danger rating information, weather maps/graphs and archived weather data are updated on the GFC

weather website.

Ensured the proper functioning of a network of 19 automatic weather stations

Provided spot weather forecasts for large fires

Educated in-house fire-fighters and general public about fire weather

Acted as a liaison between the Commission and other agencies on weather matters

Participated in a number of Rapid Process Improvement (RPI) Events using Lean concepts

Participated in Incident Management Team of the GFC
