Terpene Resin Unit Engineer, Arizona Chemical
Panama City, Florida October 2011 to October 2013
• Eliminated bottlenecks in primary process streams by collecting data from process
trials, and implementing some preventative measures including maintenance, and
installing equipment where necessary.
• Created yearly production budget for the Resin Unit using SAP, and past information
that is updated to account for any new processes or new finished products.
• Responsible for all P&ID change documentation, Management of Change
documentation, Process Safety Information updates, and Supervisor Safety Audits.
• Developed Training Documentation for the Process Unit Operators, and develop a
tracking method for any retraining efforts. Responsible for operational and technical
development for operators.
• Designed and reported “Key Process Indicator” reports to the Operations Manager
weekly, and the Plant manager monthly.
• Maintained the Environmental Documentation efforts for the wastewater from the
plant with collaboration with the EHS department.
Shift Supervisor/Process Engineer, Arizona Chemical
Panama City, Florida July 2010 to October 2011
• Worked closely with the Unit Engineer to decrease batch reactor cycle times in the
Rosin Ester Unit; team supervisors and unit engineer set the production record without
having to increase raw material usage per ton of product.
• Performed multiple projects to increase efficiency/reduce downtime in the Tall Oil
refinery.
• Assisted with capital project implementation in the Rosin Ester packaging unit;
exceeded the company record for packaged product in a day by creating a culture of
equipment ownership by employees and active leadership in reliability tracking and
efficiency trials.
• Organized and safely executed the Tall Oil Refinery annual turn-around in December
2010; the turnaround was on schedule and under budget.

Unit Leader, British Petroleum
Mobile, Alabama May 2010 to July 2010
• Worked to organize The Mobile Command Center during the first two weeks of the
incident. Held multiple leadership positions during the several months of the clean- up
effort.
• Drafted the Demobilization Plan which was implemented with U.S. Coast Guard and
BP endorsements.
• Designed several vessel and boom decontamination sites and wastewater/storm water
treatment areas.
Process Engineer, Evergreen Packaging (formerly International Paper)
Pine Bluff, Arkansas August 2008-March 2010
• Designed, performed, and reported chemical/process improvement trials.
• Successfully lead the pulp mill production crew in implementation of new technical
process procedures in order to (1) eliminate debottlenecking of the CLO2 generator,
and (2) increase production thru-put in the black liquor recovery boiler by decreasing
the amount of downtime to clean the boiler tubes.
• Worked as a temporary process manager (Shift Foreman); successful in providing the
necessary “hands-on” leadership to gain the team cooperation and support of a veteran,
union production crew in the Pulp Mill.
• Worked as a relief Process Area Manager in several mill areas; successfully gained the
support of the production crews by “leading by example” & demonstrating project
dedication and a strong work ethic.
• Created monthly pulp production, environmental reports, and other Key Process
Indicators as determined by OEE.
• Wrote the 2010 Pulp Mill Capital Investment Proposals for the 2010 Pulp mill Capital
plan.
• Assisted in creating a plan to increase Bleach Plant production.
