1/1/13 to Present I am part of a special team of specialist reviewing

damage to airports and infrastructure by Hurricane Sandy.

Write technical damage reports and mitigation for subsistence grants from

the US Federal Government. Airports that were damaged

included: La Guardia Airport, NY, Elizabeth Field Airport,

Fischer, NY.

2012 to 2013 Hensel Phelps NAS Navy Air

Station, San Diego

Quality Control Manager (Contract Amount 60 M)

Quality Control Manager for this $60 million Gold LEED certified

hanger project at NAS, Coronado Island in San Diego,

California. This is a design build project that was managed

from cradle to grave. As the contractor Quality Control

Manager, I was responsible for the day-to-day quality of this

facility and reported this to the Navy. The project was

completed within the budget refrains and schedule benchmarks.

This included reviewing drawings and specifications for

constructability, evaluated and prepared recommendations for

changes in scope of work, lead team owners meetings, reviewed

consultant work, approved payments, and established /

implemented an effective quality control program for compliance

with FEAD / Navfac.

2011 ECC International Afghanistan Mazar

Sharif

AFCEE USACE project for the Mazar Sharif International Airport.

Classified construction projects for DoD. Project were

varied but consisted of housing, hangers, central plants,

administrative facilities, runways, taxiways and infrastructure. These

projects were all Silver LEED projects.

Project Manager for a LEED certified architecturally elite

fitness building at Cal State University San Bernardino campus.

This project included a basketball court, hockey rink, two

saunas, aerobic rooms, cliff climbing wall, work out and weight

rooms. This complex also held the administrative offices for

the campus athletic department with state of the art conference

room. The building had a double apex fan shaped roof that

created a challenge and became a central architectural center

piece for the campus. This building was mentioned in the

regional Fitness Center AIA awards.

Project Manager and Quality Control Manager for this $20 million

LEED certified hanger project at March Air Force Base in

Riverside, California. This hanger was the first LEED certified

building by the US Air Force. This was a design build project

that was managed from cradle to grave. It was written up in the

local newspaper, ENR and the Air Force Times as an example of

LEED certification can accomplish and the rewards the bring to a

project. As the contractor Senior Project Manager, I was

responsible for the day-to-day operation of this facility. The

project was completed within the budget refrains and schedule

benchmarks. This included reviewing drawings and specifications

for constructability, evaluated and prepared recommendations for

changes in scope of work, lead team meetings, reviewed

Engineers Project)

As the contractor, I was responsible for the day-to-day

operation of this $5 million Office Facility at a Federal Army

Reserve Base. The project was completed on time and under budget

and produced over $100,000 in Change Orders. I reviewed drawings

and specifications for constructability, evaluated and prepared

recommendations for changes in scope of work, lead team

meetings, reviewed consultant work, approved payments, and

established / implemented an effective quality control program

for compliance with the Army Corp of Engineers.

1985 to 1988 CARLSON AL SAUDIA

I was responsible for Construction Management on the King Saud

Hospital renovation project with a $260 million budget. As part

of the construction management team I was responsible for

contract administration, provided claims avoidance measures and

negotiations for the project, including change order

Contractors, Architect & Owner. I also implemented an effective

quality control program for compliance for this project.

I was responsible for supervision of a $240 million 2-year

construction contract for Saudi Arabia King Khalid Technical

University. This included 5000 custom built faculty housing

units for the University, a water treatment facility and

associated support buildings on the University. This included

preparation of pay requests and supporting documents, handling

multimillion dollar international letters of credit, negotiating

subcontracts and auditing subcontractor/vendor submittals.

Concurrently set-up and supervised plant to provide pre-cast

concrete panels for the project.
