Tarmac Ltd is the largest road surfacing contractor in the United Kingdom.
Key responsibilities include:
. Initial tender document review and analysis to identify materials, trades
and resources required to undertake each type of scheme.
. Liaising with our in-house technical management team to address any
issues that may have been identified during tender document review and
resolving these with the client prior to tender issue.
. Attending on site to give advice and construction solutions for client's
individual schemes.
. Conducting site measurements to identify quantities on a scheme prior to
preparing quotation.
. Undertaking take offs from tender drawings to identify scheme quantities.
. Pricing of all types of surfacing works, from small private, industrial
and commercial schemes to local authority tenders, using computer based
database software system to build up quotations.
