"Identification of changes in bacterial communities associated with soft

coral Plexaura homomalla during stress".

DNA from P. homomalla coral stressed and unstressed specimens was isolated

and 16S rDNA gene was PCR amplified to taxonomically identify bacteria by

degenerate gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE).

"Isolation and screening of novel phosphate solubilising bacteria from

rhizospheric soils samples". Soil samples were collected from 6 different

crops and isolated 31 novel phosphate solubilisers on Pikovskaya media. The

isolates were scaled down to 11 good phosphate solubilisers with

phosphatase activity and phosphate solubilising activity.
