Career Summary
My career has been mostly in heavy industrial maintenance and construction
for over twenty-five (25) years. I worked my way through the crafts as a
craft field employee into supervision and then into upper management. I
have been in the power and oil industries for fifteen (15) years. I have
also worked in other heavy industry when and where I was needed. For the
last nine (9) years, I have been in project controls and project
management. I have held a number of positions that have created a unique
ability for me to be a very diverse and viable asset. I have worked the
majority of my career in a contract and/or consultant capacity and have
completed all assignments/projects safely, successfully, and with

A $45M EPC Nickel Mining Modularization Project, I solicited qualified,
coordinated, and managed contracts for nine (9) subcontractors. Duties
included solicitation and review of subcontractor's proposals and selecting
submissions for Fluor approval. I managed subcontractor contracts,
supervised subcontractor day to day work practices and procedures, assisted
with work scheduling, tracking subcontractor hours against estimated and
forecasted hours, review and approval of vendor invoicing. My duties were
extended two (2) months into the project position to include setting up
project controls procedures, estimating equipment, material, and man power
costs, solicitation of vendors, procurement of materials and equipment, and
tracking of materials. I developed and maintained a Field Change Order Log
and a Surveillance Change Order Log for tracking Fluor Engineering
structural and mechanical changes that in turn also worked as a material
tracking system. In addition, I assisted with Dii scheduling efforts with
the Fluor Scheduler for all project subcontractors, Dii mechanical and

Worked in conjunction with the Project Controls team tracking a $3.7
Billion EPC Project for two 800+ MW Units built by Bechtel Corporation. I
worked closely with Prairie State Project Management support personnel
tracking rework, inefficiencies, change orders, and back-charges. In charge
of logging and tracking Bechtel (General Contractor) rework issues that
totaled $20.4 Million before a change in contract from a T & M to a Lump
Sum. I tracked back-charges and interacted with General Contractor
