I have more than ** years of experience in construction, construction inspection, and design on a number of
projects for local cities, government agencies, and private developers. Expertise in flood control, sewers,
drainage, AC and PCC paving, traffic control, roadway excavation, soils testing, steel inspection and major
public works projects. I have been responsible for contract administration ensuring that complete, accurate
and timely contract records were maintained in accordance with required regulations and guidelines. I have
prepared reports and monitor construction budgets and schedules, maintain records, prepare and process
change orders and field design changes and attend pre construction meetings. Also experienced in
monitoring project status, contract expenditures, conducting meetings, communicating with contractors and
monitoring permit requirements of all the project agencies with regard to environmental impacts and
concerns. In addition, I have prepared and maintained project documents including labor and equipment
records and labor compliance reports. I’m also familiar with construction project scheduling. Prepared and
analyzed CPM schedules for a variety of public works projects. Certification CT 125, for sampling AC,

Construction Inspector I-40, Barstow, Ca.
Responsible for Providing Construction Inspection services to Caltrans District 8, Barstow, Ca. Responsible for the
Construction /Inspection of various Caltrans Federal Projects along I 40 from PM 3 to PM 51 within Caltrans right of
way. Projects include but not limited to; Concrete pour on end posts for various bridges, HMA Type C and G Overlays on
State Highway I 40, San Bernardino County. The work involves Cold Plane Asphalt Pavement. AC Grinding, Rubberized
HMA Gap graded, HMA Type C, Lean concrete base with rapid setting, Joint plain concrete pavement (Ramp termini
with rapid strength concrete), TMC/ Lane closure system for ramps/expressways and on the freeway, Coordination with
Cozeep, installation of MBGR, Crash cushings, shoulder backing, AC overflow drains, Flume down drains, and AC
Dikes. Responsible for performing all aspects of construction Inspection, Make sure the contractor is in compliance with
the Standard Specification, Construction Manual, Project plans, and Special Provisions. Total cost 20 M.
Crown Valley Bridge Widening, Laguna Niguel, Ca.
Cost 5.5 M/Plan check/ Parkway Inspection/ Design/Construction
Responsibilities: Earthwork excavation, AC Paving RHMA, Drainage Installation, Roadway excavation, Inspected
concrete pour on deck of Bridge, and infill walls. Rebar placement, grinding and false work operation. Retaining wall
placement, structure excavation, and structural backfill. Installation of column casing and concrete barrier. Monitoring
of traffic control layout and placement. Made monthly progress pay estimates. Installation and re-piping the Street
Storm Drain, for approximately 100’. Used shoring for the safety of the employees, the size of the pipe was 24” and
36”diameter.
Updating as built plans, and Responsible for ensuring compliance with contract Plans, Standard plans, Specification
codes, and Construction manual. Total cost 5.5 M
Park infrastructure Project/ City Of South Gate, Ca.
Cost: 3.5 M / Plan check/ Design / Construction
Public Works Inspector: Responsible for ensuring compliance with contract plans, specifications, and design policies.
Performed engineering calculations and inspections during all phases of construction. Advised contractors on major
phases of construction activity; enforced compliance with contract documents. Completed and maintained records
pertaining to construction progress including daily reports, monthly Progress Payment and job expenditures. Review
Plan drawings for approval of Permit for local streets and homeowners. Update As Built Plans and any changes made to
original drawings. Inspection include but not limited to: Sub Grade and Base compaction, Pavers installation, Earthwork,
Grading, Excavation, Drainage, Sewer, Storm Drains, DG Pathways, Landscape, Electrical and lighting, Traffic signals,
Performed land surveying for Elevation and grade verification.
SR-710, Interchange Improvements, Caltrans District 7
Project Cost: $21 million (DESIGN-BUILD).
Transportation Engineer Civil: Responsible for inspection, removal and replacement of Asphalt Concrete in the Long
Beach Freeway. Also performing engineering calculations, daily construction inspection to ensure contractor
compliance with the contract plans and specifications, and recording detailed daily inspection reports to accurately
reflect construction progress. Advised contractor on construction activity and enforced compliance with contract
documents. Lane closure input and called in lane closure logs. Monitored lane closure layout. As for AC Paving; Took
AC sample for lab testing to meet Spec’s. Made sure the AC comes from the correct source, Temperature, Correct mix
design #, and reported how much AC was laid each day of work. As for Earthwork; Inspection of Sub-Grade and Base
compaction underneath some bridges. Recorded all removal for PCC and Base.
SR-710, interchange Improvement, Caltrans District 7
Project Cost: $100 Million
Construction Inspector: Responsible for performing daily construction inspection to ensure contractor compliance
with contract plans and specifications and recording detailed daily inspection. Assisted with pay quantity estimates,
contract change orders, As -built drawing changes, and tracking schedules. Inspection of Rubberized Asphalt Concrete
placement, Verify if AC coming from the approved source Site, Temperature, Sample AC for lab testing, and
monitored lane closure set up.
Caltrans – Transportation Engineer Civil, Storm water Coordinator – District 7
Construction Inspector: Responsible for ensuring compliance with the National Pollution Discharge
Elimination System (NPDES) permit on all construction projects for District 7 (South). Reviewed Storm water
Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP’s) ensuring compliance and appropriateness for each project. Developed
training and instructed field personnel on issues relating to compliance and management of storm water.
Coordinated field training of personnel to prepare evaluations and ensure compliance.
Caltrans – Transportation Engineer Civil, Sound wall placement. – District 7, CA.
Project Cost: 3.5 Million
Construction Inspection: At the 110 FWY, from Sepulveda Blvd to 223 rd. sound wall placement.
Inspected placement of Rebar/ and Blocks. Inspection of foundation and footing requirement.
Performed inspection for SWPPP regulations and wrote reports weekly. Created activity logs and
wrote Daily diaries. Prepared estimate for progress payment each month. Input and maintained lane
closure logs.
Caltrans – Transportation Engineer Civil, AC Placement @ the 405 Freeway. From Palo Verde to the
710 Freeway. Total cost: 2.5 M
Grinding and AC Paving on every single ramp on the 405 Freeway. Verified concrete tickets, where
AC is coming from approved source or plant The oil content, Temperature, and type of AC. After the
AC has been placed, need to cool down to a certain temperature, then apply roller. Placed over 4000
Tons of AC Throughout the entire project.
