Primary duties and responsibilities as a Project Superintendent for Marnell
Corrao Associates:
1. Primary responsibility for construction of the project and managing
all field activities to successfully complete the project.
2. Marnell Corrao self performs all concrete work. Manpower studies,
hiring all field personnel, choosing forming systems, vertical
hoisting and material procurement was required of the Superintendent.
3. Establish coordination meetings with subcontractors to integrate all
trades with our concrete work and to integrate each trade within
themselves for a smooth "FLOW" to job completion.
4. Track all required testing and final building inspections for the
Certificate of Occupancy.
5. Primary responsibility for Quality Control to insure the project is
being built in accordance with the design drawings and specifications.
6. Establish regular meetings with the Owners, Architects and Engineers
to insure that the project is proceeding in accordance with design
drawings and specifications and owner/architect document changes.
7. Problem solving when design intent does not match design documents or
job conditions. This entails proposing solutions and obtaining written
approval prior to proceeding.
8. Daily Reports, authorizing and signing subcontractor extra work
orders.
9. Update Project Managers and Project Engineers on job progress.
10. Coordination with Owners during renovations and or additions adjacent
to or inside existing hotel and Casino to facilitate construction
while maintaining the "business as usual" policy for the Owner.
11. Primary responsibility for maintaining the Project Schedule.
