Flexcube: The client embarked upon a transformation in Latin America region (19 Countries)

migrating several modules of core banking (corporate in particular – Institutional Client Group)

from legacy systems to flexcube.

As part of the Flexcube migration program, I understood the existing systems, mapped

processes to the new system (Flexcube based) and tested those prior to deployment

Flexcube & ecomm applications: The client migrated several modules of core banking

(consumer and corporate) from legacy systems to flexcube and open systems’ technologies/ I

Software Developer (April 2005 – July 2007)

Group APPS:

Group.APPS wss an online CICS system that managed Automobile Insurance. Data Capture,

pre-validation, Discount Derivation were the main functionalities in APPS. APPS system

involves in maintenance of current Auto application. Auto policy processing system (APPS2)

receives the information for auto policy processing from agent entry and calculates premium,

determines eligibility and prints the face sheet depending on the business rules. The system

also had connection to the third party system to get information on the driving record, loss

history and credit report to evaluate the risk. It also interfaced with the internal system for billing

and other legacy system like Agency commission, Internal reporting etc.

Billing Simplification Project

The policy processing system allows for Auto and Fire policies with Ezpay/Flex pay plan options

to be processed. Through this project the Farmers Insurance we implemented a new billing

option called the “Financial system – Collection and Disbursement” (FSCD). The process

includes the implementation of the new FSCD billing system and also the conversion of older

policies from the old billing system into the new one.
