measurement of the bremsstrahlung spectrum from the Varian Clinac 23EX in the RSEL of

Designed an experiment to quantify the x-ray spectrum from a 6 MV Clinac

Worked with John Aarsvold, PhD, Atlanta Veteran Affairs Medical Center, investigating the

performance of a novel Discovery NM 530c SPECT system as compared to the conventional

Infinia SPECT system

Compared estimates of the sizes of two defects in a left-ventricle-in-torso phantom

Senior Capstone Design, Georgia Tech January 2012 – May 2012

Analyzed the radiation shielding design of the neutron generator vault in the RSEL of the

Boggs building to ensure safety standards were met

Measured the neutron dose rates at various locations outside the vault using an AmBe

source and Bonner spheres and compared the results to MCNP simulation results
