2012

HVAC Operator / Technician: Responsible for maintaining AC and heating, to environmentally

control eight industrial size buildings, which utilized the 363 Ton Carrier units. Also maintained the 150

Ton Dunham Busch backup units for each of the buildings. Yearly Preventive Maintenance on all

condenser tubes and heating bunkers. Maintained and monitored the Scottsman ice machines year

round.

Maintenance Supervisor - Part time: Responsible for the overall maintenance of the dealership’s

various buildings and grounds. Ensure that all restrooms, showers, hallways, windows and other

common areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain air conditioning units, ceiling

vents and roof top filters as necessary. Responsible for painting walls, floor maintenance and ceiling

repairs as needed. Schedule removal and disposal for scrap metal and contaminated oil. Grounds

monitoring a 60-ton Carrier Air conditioner during the summer months and three Trane boilers during the

winter months. Ensure proper maintenance of the patient’s rooms and apartments which involved repair

of plumbing, electrical carpentry, painting and carpet care. Removed and replaced PVC pipes for

bathroom basins and tubs. Repaired coupling on a circulating heat pumps. Monitored of the indoor

heated pool spa to ensure proper chemical levels, and temperature on a daily basis. Did all landscaping

of approximately 2 acres; including lawn care, snow removal, mulching, seasonal planting and pruning.

Weekly floor maintenance consisting of shampooing, washing, and waxing of the common areas.

Sheet Metal Helper - F ull Time: Installed three Liebert 3 Systems in the computer room. Pipe

fitted and soldered water lines from pump stations to units. Installed and wired flow switches for glycol

systems. Mounted electronically controlled moisture / water sensors in the computer room floor and wired

to control panel of Liebert unit. Programmed Liebert unit to ensure proper operation and monitored

voltage readings. Installed sheet metal duct work and fire dampers throughout office areas. Piped in TB

boxes for circulation heat water and installed pneumatic controls. Installed AV boxes for return air in

suspended ceilings and added sheet metal duct work. Installed return and supply registers in duct work.

Piped and installed 30,000 and 50,000 BTU space heaters. Piped 15 unit heaters airplane hangar steam

plants. Utilized service technician skills at large shopping mall by making sure proper voltage into units

and wire verification. Verified proper initial start up of 150 roof top Carrier units and prepared and

installed drains.

HVAC Mechanic / Laborer: Serviced (checked voltage readings, fuses, filters, contacts, grounding

compressor, check for freon leaks with halon electronic leak detector), repaired various Lennox, York, and

carrier roof top air conditioners. Assisted in assembly and installation of sheet metal duct work, also

prepared supply and return openings in the duct work. Replaced copelamatic compressor of a Lennox air

conditioner, removed and replaced condenser fan motor, relay on a Carrier for department store chain.

Assisted in the reconstruction of computer clean room duct work. Utilized thread machine for threaded

gas pipes for local restaurant. Demolition, carpentry, labor work in prep for construction of clean rooms

and renovation of youth detention center. Monitored supply/return air temperature in computer room.

1989 - 1989

HVAC Mechanic / Laborer: Installed 3 to 5 ton York domestic central air conditioners and

serviced various commercial refrigeration equipment for variety stores, ice cream manufacturers, bee

coolers, meat storage, Sunbeam ice machines, electric heaters for evaporators, copelamatic compressors

and expansion valves.

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic : Duties included installation, maintenance,

inspection, and repair of domestic and commercial reach-in and walk-in refrigeration systems. Responded

to service calls and trouble shot mal-functions, preformed preventive maintenance on air compressors

and all above equipment, as well as recharged all with various types of Freon. Repaired and maintained

two 7 ton Carrier units for the computer room in the Air Force Geophysics Labs.

1980 - 1984

Machinist Mate MMFN: Duties included install, maintain, inspect and repair of seven 363-ton York

centrifugal air conditioning plants and five 3 ton York reciprocating refrigeration plants on board aircraft

carrier. This included daily monitoring and hourly readings of salt water gauges, chill water gauges, oil,

temperature, and Freon levels. Rebuilt 6 cylinder refrigeration compressors, repaired Sunbeam crushed

ice machines and milk dispensers. Recharged all equipment with either; R114, R12 and R105 Freon.

Repaired float valves and repaired seals on A/C plants. Replaced refrigeration coil in reach-n unit,

removed Freon in line, and coil. Responsible for the maintenance of dehumidifiers in officers’ quarters.
