Qualifications Profile

Manufacturing Process Knowledge: W orked directly with manufacturing processes as a

Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer for Stamping, Hydroforming, Mandrel CNC Tube

Bending, Laser Cutting and various Assembly techniques. I also have knowledge with lean

manufacturing ergonomics and customer/supplier relations regarding part quality and function.

Process Documentation Control: Oversaw numerous process control documents including

operation standards, quality fixture instructions, control plans, PQCT’s, developed process control

limits, part and assembly drawings, customer drawings and requirements.

Problem Identification and Analysis: Through my work experiences I was required to complete

tear downs of assemblies for investigation, perform root cause analysis, lead design changes to

satisfy customer requirements and improve fit and function of assembly components. I was also

required to identify and quantify problem areas of parts by utilizing advanced measurement tools

such as CMM data and Faro Arm Scan data. Problems were also identified through various forms

of data acquisition.

Computer Program Capabilities: Trained and utilized 3D modeling software Autodesk Inventor

and AutoCAD through schooling and co-op experiences. Proficient with PC operating systems

along with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint and E xcel.

full time work, co-op experiences and through the education I received at Georgian College.

Quality Engineering, September 2012 to October 2013

F&P Manufacturing, Tottenham, Ontario – Tier 1 Automotive Parts Supplier

Responsible for final part quality of multiple manufacturing processes including Stamping,

Hydroforming, Laser Cutting and Tube Bending. These processes produced parts for subframes,

suspension and various other structural automotive components. Acquired detailed experience

regarding quality production issues. Managed all quality proc esses used by production including

process control and quality documents as well as all quality tools used for verifying components.

Implemented product design changes to satisfy customer and process requirements.

Quality Engineering, January 2012 to September 2012

Magna Closures - Dortec, Bradford, Ontario - Tier 1 Automotive Parts Supplier

Gained knowledge on regular QE duties including documentation such as PQCT’s, control plans

and developed process control limits. Lead advanced troubleshooting activities to ensure

production continued on multiple assembly lines by use of detailed data acquisition and applying

knowledge of process variables and resultant outputs. Required to work with and maintain

customer/supplier relations to ensure timely changes and modifications when necessary.

Worked extensively alongside a Manufacturing Engineer and a Quality Engineer reviewing part
