§ Monitored the GIS lab during open lab hours. Provided GIS assistance as needed to students in the lab.

and helped students with projects using this software.
Lexington-Fayette County Urban Government – Property Value Administration Intern Fall 2012
§ Created a detailed GIS layer of parking in downtown Lexington, Kentucky.
§ Independently collected parking lot data; tested a mobile data collection app; verified, organized, and
managed the data set; and produced a GIS layer for the PVA office database.

OpenLexington - Restaurant Heath Code Scores Co-op Project Spring 2012
§ Worked on a semester long project with OpenLexington organization to show what could be

created maps and visualizations that show analysis in the data.
§ Presented findings at City Camp Lexington “Unconference”. Demonstrated power of public accessible
data by showing uneven spatial distribution of restaurant health code scores in Lexington Kentucky
§ Gained experience with the ArcGIS software, collaborated with OpenLexington to create a needs
assessment report, acquired and prepared spatial data for GIS analysis, communicated with clients to
