Openwave Download Manager is a Java vending machine that automates the
process of adding cell phone software products to an inventory catalog and
allowing consumers to download purchased products to subscribers' cell
phones, both Over-the-air (OTA).
As a team member for the Openwave Download Manager product group, I built
MIDP, WAP 2.0 and WAP 1.X applications for the mobile phone j2ee Java
download server product. I created a subscriber renderer module in multiple
form factors, for JSR 124 download of J2ME / MIDP and various other
wireless download content. I created the architecture for an advanced
device agnostic rendering of wireless interfaces for the world's most
advanced, and modern mobile devices. Use of Jbuilder, mobile set 3, Oracle

user interface and complete facelift on dynamically driven auction web
site. Use of SSI's and Perl scripts along with the insertion of VC++ and
Html compiled together to drive dynamically driven web content on the fly.
Careful use of CVS code version control to keep site updated with current
content while insuring reliability of code and function. (Microsoft IIS web
servers) Visual Studio, F-secure, Compiling perl5 SSI's (dynamically driven
code) with hard coded HTML and VC++ delivered from other engineers into a
single file which resulted into server driven page delivery.
