release. Works directly with product engineering team and accepts responsibility related to overall system

design to assist R&D in all areas of electro-mechanical design including system integration, testing and PLC

support.

• Circuit\System Design & Capture:

• Good electrical knowledge of filter design and utilization, math and analysis for amplifiers from DC-RF

including integrated filter networks, power throughput and impedance matching, spectral analysis, phase

noise evaluation, thermo studies and trend line projection, longevity testing and expected (MTBF)

• Utilizes RF Generators and spectrum analyzers on the bench for testing and evaluation of spectral purity

and STNR. Models through put from input to output signal analysis

• Understands PID control systems and develops controls for Velocity, Position, Acceleration, and sensor or

in circuit current feedback to maintain the former including thermo\power output for lasers of RF devices.

• Utilizes and constructs RF Filters, using equations, Mathcad or p-Spice or Excel Spread sheets for

optimizing LP, HP, BP and Notch filters active and non-active filter design providing spectrally pure output with

minimum loss utilizing impedance matching to reduce SWR.

• Utilizes Thermocouples, positive or negative providing feedback for stability over power and temperature

fluctuation maintaining Temperature Control Systems

• Designs and modifies Impedance Control circuits for optimizing transmission to RF connections and

Antennas, plus understands RF field propagation and steering using delay techniques and DSP.

• Utilizes simulation tools to develop digital and analog designs common to the components used and for

analog can improvise utilizing models, math tools, P-spice and any common simulation tools including

emulators that are u-Processor specific, design and modeling linear and saturated transistor circuits

• Experienced in I\O interfacing and protocols that require signal\data timing and handshaking, such as,

SPI, Keyed, parallel and serial\I2C. Understands Ethernet and most communication interfaces through

specific literature

• Electrical System Design & Capture: custom wiring, prototype build, test and debug

• Very strong hands on test, debug and integration capabilities in System level and board level design

• Works well with new product introduction into manufacturing releases all documentation in accordance

with manufacturing parameters.

• Compliance: UL, VDE, CSA approvals, EMI, RFI, and ESD elimination and FCC approvals

• Carries products through testing and works directly with agencies or in-house technical staff to gain

approvals understands the underlying causes of failures and develops corrective actions working with the

team to resolve issues affecting the design and functionality per the specifications and parameters

• Understands RFI, Radio Frequency Interferences and common problems associated with instances

related to grounding and shielding and common noise rejection. Knows how to evaluate and alleviate noise

problems at any level of the design.

• Developed patent applications for touch screens exceeding 20kV discharge

• Developed specific grounding techniques for multiple generations of electronic equipment

• Understands “Intrinsic Safety” and the requirements for accomplishing it for the prevention of fire and

explosion

• Motor Controls: Selection, Velocity, Position control loops, Classical & PID Control Techniques, Simulation,

Tuning, (PID Controllers: Delta TAU, some Allen Bradley, Berkley sequencer), have some training on LabView

understand the basic principles and the math behind the system analysis and the advantage of using the tools for

simulation.
