District Manager, Sirius XM. Kansas City, Kansas.
In my current position I meet with the Dealer Principles of new car dealerships for every manufacture in
Kansas and Missouri. The goal is to meet with these individuals and sell them on the idea of allowing me
to gain access to the dealerships DMS or Dealer Management Software. Once trust is built the dealer will
allow me access. After access is granted I pull data from his system in an effort to make the service free
to vehicle purchasers with the goal of winning that customers business in the future. In order for the
process to function effectively the entire sales staff must be trained in all areas and features of the radio
and the activation process. I provide this information in both a classroom setting as well as in the vehicle
with each sales person to ensure the process is understood. After the dealership’s staff understands the
product and its benefit to either selling process. I try to ensure their participation in reaching my
objective by fostering a friendly and professional relationship with everyone in the entire dealership.
District Sales Manager, Isuzu Motors America. Kansas City, Kansas.
Isuzu Motors Incorporated decided to close its North American operations.
Developed emerging territories through strong proactive problem solving, strategic planning and
negotiating. I acted as the Midwest district leader of sales for light duty vehicles. I motivated dealers and
senior management through consistent relationship building. Worked with senior management to achieve
individual dealer monthly retail and wholesale goals for 16 dealerships within 6 states through firm
inventory control systems supported by allocation commitments. Ensured that dealers maintained a
trained staff in order to provide sales and after sales support to customers. Provided ongoing training to
sales personnel utilizing extensive knowledge of company products and advanced knowledge of sales
operations in order to provide the highest level of effective product and sales training. I ensured that
dealers were constantly updated on product applications and competitiveness and were updated with
competitors’ information as soon as it became available. I displayed advanced selling and public
presentation skills by representing the company at annual auto shows in order to promote our products.
General Manager, Hertz Rent a Car. Kansas City, Kansas.
Duties included all operational and financial responsibilities of operating 3 rental car locations. In
addition to creating new business through new contracts, I used sensitivity models for determining break-
even sales volume for each location so units could be priced accordingly. I also performed various
forecasting techniques such as regression analysis, moving averages and other econometric models to
establish forecasting figures so supply would meet demand with little overage. This resulted in an
increase of inventory utilization of over 35%.
Zone Representative, Daimler Chrysler Motor Company. Overland Park, Kansas.
Served as the liaison between customers and the dealerships in elevated sales and repair disputes to
ensure fairness. I also enforced compliance of corporate standards on dealerships to ensure customer
satisfaction.
