CURRENT
1. Performing Echocardiography (Parasternal Long, Parasternal Short, Apicals,
Subcostals and Ped-
off.
2. Performing Cardiac Doppler Color Flow and determining if proper or improper flow
paterns.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of proper ECG/EKG and troubleshoot system sufficient to
obtain an
effective diagnostic study and recognize arrhythmias (PVC vs. PAC) and organs of each.
4. Maintain patients’ right to privacy, HIPPA and provide excellent treatment to all
patients.
5. Carry out Physician's orders accurately in performance of all diagnostic studies.
6. Following Departmental policy and procedures, charging procedures and training co-
workers.
7. Evaluation of studies and constant communications with Physicians and co-workers.
Sonography Machines and Software Experience
General Electric (Vivid 9, Vivid 7 and Logio 7), Philips(IE 33, 5500 and 4500)and Siemens
(Acuson Sequoia C512). Software-Excelera, Stentor, Medcom, all Word programs and
Accounting.
ADDIT IONAL SONOGRAPHY DUTIES INCLUDE
1. TEE, Vascular Studies(Carotid, Abdominal Aorta, Aterial Upper Extremity, Venous
Extremity,
A trial Lowery Extremity, Nuclear Stress Tests EKG and BPI).
2. Stress Tests which include Exercise Tolerance Test using a treadmill, Adenosine or
Dobutamine
Pharmacological Stress Tests.
3. Evaluations of Studies for review and determination and review of scanning protocall.
4. BLS, CPR, AED, EPAC, STAR, Cerner and Web Application.
