Job Experience:

a) August 1986 - February 1992 : Worked in Thermax Limited, a

reputed engineering in the field of heat generating equipment & water

treatment plants as Project & Planning Engineer. Experience in the Design,

Engineering, Fabrication,

Erection, Commissioning, Maintaining, Troubleshooting of all types of

Boilers(Smoke Tube/water Tube, Solid/Liquid/Gaseous fuel fired,IBR/NON

IBR),Thermic Fluid Heaters, Hot Water/Hot Air

Generators,Incinerators,Burners and fuel heaters etc.

Experience in the fabrication and erection of Chimney and associated

ductings, water/fuel oil storage and service tanks, tank farms and

interconnected pipings with pipe supports. Experience in the Engineering,

procurement, fabrication and Erection, testing of steam piping, water

piping and fuel piping .Also possess experience in electrical cabling,

control panels and instrumentation related to the steam generating systems.

Experience in the fuel storage and handling systems including tank farms

and associated piping and pumps installations. Experience in the solid fuel

storage and conveying systems including ash and coal. Also carried out

shutdown projects successfully. Experience in erection, tendering, bidding

and estimation of large size projects. Clients handled are HPCL,BPCL, ICI,

b) March 1992 - December 1994 : Worked in reputed alloy steel and

special grade steel manufacturing metallurgical industry Mukand Limited as

Senior Project & Planning Engineer reporting to Vice President

(Projects).Executed projects in running steel plant of erection of furnace,

bulk alloy feeding system to furnace, dedusting system for furnace, water

cooling system for furnace, pickling plant for wire rod coils, material

handling systems and weigh batching systems. The responsibilities involved

were planning of the projects, co-ordination with consultants and

contractors, floating of tenders, techno-commercial evaluation of bids,

order placement and total execution of project till commissioning. This

involved fabrication and erection of big storage sheds with overhead

bunkers and EOT crane, Weighing Bins and Belt Conveying systems for

ferroalloys and lime. Other shutdown projects executed were ferronickle

feeding system to Convertor and Ultra High Power Furnace (UHPF) consisting

of bulk storage system and electronic batching and conveying systems, and

setting up of new pickling plant fully DCS operated for CS and SS wire rod

coils. Handled and was in charge of full Utilities like Boiler, Water

Treatment Plant, Fuel Storage and Handling Systems, Compressed air system

and piping (CS/SS/PP/PVC/GI).Experience in Design, Detail Engineering,

Erection, Tendering & Bidding.

c) January 1995 - February 1998 : Worked in reputed, prestigious

multinational engineering consultancy company Humphreys & Glasgow

Consultants Limited as Senior Project Engineer. Associated with Chiyoda -

QAFAC prebid engineering project and Nirma Limited - 1200 TPD Soda Ash

Project

With Akzo Nobel, Netherlands as Process Licensor. Job involved complete

project co-ordination and project design engg. With Client, Process

Licensor, Statutory Authorities,

Inspection Agencies, Internal Design Deptts. Vendors and Contractors. Also

involved in detail engineering, design and planning, MTO preparations

of piping, preparation of Enquiry Indents, Technical comparisons of

quotations etc.

d) February 1998 - July 2002 : Worked in Gulf ie Middle East Asia for

following companies

Petroserv Limited, Qatar as Project & Planning Engineer. Executed projects

in fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning of Sulfinol tank as per

API 650 for Qatar General Petroleum Corporation and erection of electric

arc furnace with dedusting system, bulk alloy additive system, cooling

water system for Mannesmann Demag, Germany at Qatar Steel Company (QASCO).

Dodsal Limited as Planning & Contracts Engineer at Dodsal & Co. LLC,

Sultanate of Oman. Was deputed at Oman Liquefied Natural Gas (OLNG) project

at Sur, Oman with plant capacity of 2 x 3.3 MMTPA and with Chiyoda

FosterWheeler (CFW) as main EPC contractor. Job functions involved

engineering, planning and site execution of plant piping and pipe supports

(Big Bore & Small Bore),data acquistion from site for updating planning

program, structures, equipment with contractual periodical billing. Also

involved in the estimation and bidding for new tenders and engineering

activities

Special Technical Services LLC, Oman worked as Planning Engineer

Experience in handling of engineering maintenance contracts of Petroleum

Development Oman (PDO). Experience in Oil exploration & drilling rigs, flow

lines and hook up lines.

MECON, Doha, Qatar worked on two projects including one shutdown at Qatar

Petroleum and QLGC as Senior Planning & Project Engineer.

e) August 2002 - November 2003 : Worked for one of Group

companies of Reliance Industries Limited, India's Largest private sector

company,in their Project Division as Project Manager

f) November 2003 - Aug'2006 : Working with M/S UHDE India LTD, as

Technical Specialist (Project Management & Project Control).Involved in

Execution, Planning, Monitoring of projects in Fertilizer and chemical

process industries.

g) Aug'2006 - Feb'2007 : Worked with C.C.I.C. Qatar, a

major giant construction company in Gulf involved in Oil & Gas Construction

Projects as Senior Planning Engineer. Was seconded to JGC & CTCI for

Planning,Monitoring and Execution of QAPCO General Shut Down job .

Worked with Petrofac on brownfield development project at Harweel Oman with

PDO

h) Mar'2008 - May 2009 : Worked on YLNG (Yemen LNG) Project

as Dy Manager (Planning & progress Measurement, Project Control) through

Technip, France. Job involved planning and Progress Measurement system

setup of subcontractors, validate the same, check/approve the

subcontractos' progress reports, preparation/submission of Monthly, weekly

progress reports to client, attend client/subcontractor's progress

meetings, preparation & updation of Level-4 schedules network on primavera

P3,1,preparation of rebaseline plans, recovery plans, check on resource

mobilization by subcontractors etc

i) Since Jan'2010 till Jan'2012 : Worked as a Project

Management consultant rendering services (Project Planning & Control

including construction planning) on contract basis in TEIL, a Japanese

company on a grassroot refinery under construction.

j) Jan'12 to Apr'2012: Worked as Senior Planning Engineer

with CCC -Tasiast Gold refinery project at Mauritania

Jul2012 - Mar'2013: Worked as Senior Planning Engineer

with CCC at Turkmenistan - South Yoloten Gas field development project.
