Manager within the telecommunications (land-line & wireless) as well as gas industries. Managed (union & open

Central Hudson Gas & Electric (contract employee)

Cathodic Protection Inspector:

Manage various Cathodic Protection (CP) programs including Field Testing of CP Test Stations, unprotected

mains and Isolated Services as well as conducting field surveys and preparing drawings for Central Hudson Gas

& Electric Company.

Work with external contractors to ensure the testing program is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

This includes a moderate amount of fieldwork in addition to office work.Work with Central Hudson employees to

ensure the mitigation and repair programs are completed within required timeframes, this includes a significant

amount of fieldwork, in addition to some office work. Develop and analyze reports of program status and

address any shortfalls. Act as a liaison for Central Hudson at meetings and conference calls with counterparts

at other New York State utilities and the Public Service Commission (PSC) staff. Analyze data to ensure quality

and accuracy. Initiate and develop improvements to the programs and identify synergies with other Central

Hudson processes. Perform extensive and continuing field review of CHG&E’s entire Gas Transmission system.

National Field Service Corporation – Suffern, NY September 2009 - August 2012

Inspector – Orange and Rockland Utilities:

Responsible for preparing, reading and interpreting drawings, maps, plans, specifications and procedures as

well as keeping accurate and detailed field records including daily job reports, material usage and locations; field

test records and comprehensive construction as-built drawings. Documented and prepared as-built drawings

and attended to all field work. Located underground utilities using maps and measurements. Ensured that each

contractor complied with respective environmental rules and regulations. Reconciled all materials issued,

transferred, or returned and documented required transactions. Implemented all environmental, health and

safety plan requirement; ensured that jobs were maintained in a safe manner and met or exceeded O&R’s

safety and environmental policies and procedures. Followed, executed and documented detailed procedures

needed to tie-in new gas and electric facilities, and recognized abnormal and unsafe conditions. Verified

contractors’ equipment was used within limits; ensured that contractors maintained clean and safe worksites.

AT&T/ Verizon Communications – Albany, NY 1981 - November 2008(layoffs)

Assumed ever-progressing roles (Early in career was promoted to Drafts Person, Space Planner, and Foreman

to Construction Manager).

Supervisor Logistics Services(2001- November 2008):

Performed 80% field work for telecommunications renovation for commercial projects & oversight of subcontractors (electrical,

plumbing, HVAC) renovations. Direct supervision of approximately 14 (union) associates charged with ordering and stocking

approximately 36 store rooms with telecommunications equipment and supplies. Additionally responsible for distribution of

FIOS equipment including set top boxes, cables, connectors, adaptors, battery back-up units, operating network technologies,

and installation equipment and material for older technology units; employee DOT safety and oversight/inventory of return

material and out-of-box failure procedures.

Associate Director - Environmental Project Management(1995-2001):

Responsible for approximately 200 HAZMAT spill clean-ups, removal and replacement of 320 under and above ground

petroleum bulk storage tanks, and 100 soil remediation projects. Supported Human Resources department to assure corporate

compliance with OSHA, DEC and all federal, state and local policies.

Operations Manager - Design and Construction(1991-1995):

Managed construction for major and minor projects throughout New York State.Oversaw budgets of over $1M and supervised

completion of projects under time constraints such as weather to bring them in on schedule and under budget. Conducted

formal bidding process for General Contractors for completion of new buildings, rehabs, renovations, digital switch “hot-slides”,

roof replacements and all aspects of HVAC, electrical and security systems including special environments and clean rooms.

Property Manager(1986-1991):

Responsible for the safety and comfort of approximately 500 company employees in multiple buildings. Supervised

approximately 10 contract employees, interfaced with local government, unions and departmental personnel concerning

building maintenance. Negotiated contracts and bidding to maintain various facilities interior and exterior in compliance with

OSHA and municipal regulations including cleaning. Acted as liaison for Verizon Science and Technologies to install

telecommunications cable subway systems and Ethernet laboratories.

General Manager/Safety Manager - NYNEX (1983-1986):

Responsible for creating the physical components for the first wireless company in the New York region including the

headquarters, cell sites, and the wireless phone stores in New York City and Boston. Supervised 3 management employees

and oversaw all aspects of the properties including: real estate, space planning, construction, telecommunications,

safety/OSHA, security, mail/stock rooms, recordkeeping and purchasing.

Building Administrator - Advanced Mobile Phone Service(1981-1983):

Responsible for the physical placement of the first wireless subsidiary of AT&T in Bernardsville, NJ. Supervised 4 management

employees to provide administrative services, security, safety/OSHA, fleet services and real estate. Worked closely with

headquarters and cell site engineering.

Also, earlier in career for AT&T, assigned to the following roles:

Space Planner

Coordinated the movement and maintenance of approximately 1,800 AT&T employees in multiple buildings throughout New

York and New Jersey area. Liaison between tenants and the Real Estate department to insure proper and safe facilities.

Architectural Draftsman Blueprint drawing, reading and maintenance for all AT&T facilities located in the Wall Street area of

NYC.
