Facilities (AF) Requirements. Participated in Government Pre-Site Surveys,
Vendor/Contractor Site Surveys, Site Implementation Agreement (SIA)
meetings, Terminal Implementation and Field Implementation team meetings.
Traveled extensively (50%) to witness and observe the Design Qualification
Tests (DQT), System Acceptance Tests (SAT), Engineering Dry Runs and
Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) activities for STARS and STARS LITE.
Supported my FAA Customers' resolutions/corrections for interpreting and
defining changes to STARS System/Subsystem Specifications during product
development through OT&E.
Monitored, reported and documented any system problems identified during
testing at the vendor's factory and at the William J. Hughes Technical

test plans and procedures.Performed all technical tasks and Airway

Systems for the FAA customer (ATB-232A) in the Terminal Systems Division. I

(STR) Work Groups. Reviewed and commented on contractor's deliverables.

National Operations Control Center (NOCC) - On a National real time basis,
24x7, developed workable solutions for use in resolving unanticipated

resolving critical problems in existing systems and developed interim
solutions to identifiable problems.
Provided verbal and written reports to senior level management and real-
time paging of significant NAS events. On a daily basis I prepared written
briefing packages that included significant outages impacting the NAS in
the previous 24-hour period. This included Congressional issue papers,

Managed the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) of a large National Airspace
System (NAS),consisting of 4 major airports. Directed the maintenance and
certification of electronic systems and associated facilities. Maintained
the Maintenance Management System (MMS) for automated logging activities,
certifying facilities and services, maintaining the master preventive
maintenance schedule, and the master training databases. Managed the
profiles and access criteria of all ATSSs accessing the MMS. Maintained
and populated the Executive Node with maintenance data criteria for the
Eastern Region. Created daily outage reports for local management review
