Mobility Product Offers, Discounts, and Pricing
Oracle PL/SQL scripts to identify data anomalies and create targeted recordsets
based on analysis and meetings with senior Business managers.
Design of MDM process for account data from D&B. Similar to Siebel UCM
functionality for storing the unified profile for enterprise customers, partners,
and prospects information. Perl/SQL scripts and Siebel EIM for ETL
operations to load external Account data files created by the match and
merge processes of Purisma and Ab Initio, including data de-duplication and
data cleansing.
SME for the Ab Initio team to enhance and modify graphs, lookups,
transformations, and SQL queries.
Design and development of Account loader prioritization and load balancing for
Siebel EIM. In an environment where a limited number of accounts are
allowed to be uploaded daily to create new customer accounts and update
existing accounts, the process provides flexible rule-based prioritization,
including rejection of stale records.
Data scrubs developed to undertake business solutions until the time application
updates roll out.
Fully automated Perl/SQL scripts designed and developed to provide BI reports
by monitoring system functions and deviation from tolerence levels.
Mobility Product interface design and maintenance using SQL Loader, Perl
scripts, and Siebel EIM.
Maintenance of Mobility product offers, discounts, and pricing using Perl,
PL/SQL, and Siebel EIM.
Comparative data analysis across multiple systems to present solutions for
system data synchronization.
Automated tracking of the performance of scrubs relative to the number of data
anomalies in the database.
T-MOBILE, WA: Systems Analyst (December 2006 To March 2008)
Environment: Sun Fire E2900 server running Austin Logistics ActionSelect v4.1
and HP Integrity rx7640 Server running Oracle 10.2 Enterprise.
Business Analysis, Functional Specifications Document, and support
Development/Test environment
The purpose of the Credit Line Management (CLM) application is to increase the
profitability of T-Mobile accounts, reduce churn, and minimize T-Mobile’s
exposure to bad debt from uncollectible account receivables.
T-Mobile has partnered with Austin Logistics to build a profitability model
containing attrition, revenue, and risk components.
Analysis and functional specifications of data elements required for determination
of predictive elements for the profitability model based on JAD sessions .
Design of data extraction of the data elements, merge of the data elements from
multiple data sources.
Support development and test environments with relevant data snapshot, and
test plan.
Cingular Wireless, WA: Developer/Analyst (September 2002 To October
2006)
Environment: Sun UltraSPARC SMP Servers running Siebel 7.5 Enterprise
Server and Oracle 9i for Siebel Database Server.
Design/Development for Blue-to-Orange Billing System Conversion
(February 2005 - October 2006)
The Driver is a file containing a list of Billing account numbers and related
Service/Subscription account numbers considered for conversion to Cingular
billing systems after the data exceptions and Business exclusion rules has
been applied. It also defines the scope for populating the UF mapping
requirements for both Siebel and Atlys systems.
The driver table acts like a FACT table with denormalised data and stores the
foreign keys for various dimension tables.
SME for the Informatica team to enhance and modify SQL overrides, mapping,
and transformations.
Design and development of the driver file that processes more than 10 million
billing accounts, 30 million subscriptions and 400 million assets. The script
sifts through more than 2 terabytes of data in the Siebel database (Blue
system) and identifies accounts, subscriptions and related assets, along with
all the attributes required for the target system after validating all business
rules. The script is fully automated, controlled via config file and can be
executed as a multi-threaded process with user-defined number of threads.
SME for the Business Objects team to create and define Universe objects.
Development of Data Cleansing/Migration and Data WareHousing Scripts
(April 2003- January 2005)
The data cleansing/scrubbing scripts are fully automated PERL scripts that use
the EIM interface to update the Siebel base tables for a specific business
solution or a temporary fix until the application fix rolls out. The powerful
automation enables the script to be scheduled as a nightly task.
The scrubs back-up any record that is updated/deleted, complete log of all
actions in log tables and in flat files for audit/recovery. Incorporates advance
auto-recovery features to handle errors like “snapshot too old”, “table/view not
found”.
Data analysis, tracking the performance of the scrub relative to the number of
data anomalies reported or seen in the database, and providing the best
solution for the data anomaly/business issue.
Design and Development of Library Routines for Automation (September
2002- March 2003)
The Library routines were developed using Perl and various CPAN modules. The
Library allows the developer to quickly develop data cleansing or migration
scripts.
The library transparently logs all the operations, provides automatic error
handling, and facilitates intricate job management and automation using
crontab, among a host of other things.
The library is used to develop data warehousing scripts with built-in monitoring
features that loads more data from various data sources into a single
database and for development and scheduling of BI reports.
