• July 2007 – Today : IT Director

I am responsible of all ICT services and infrastructure for the whole Group, coordinating a team of 11

people and managing ICT system for 11 plants in 9 different countries in Europe and Americas.

My role is also charged of preparing and managing budgeting prospect as well as costs control and

investments for ICT area.

Managing daily different projects (improvements, restructuring, acquisition, infrastructure) as program

manager and leading the ERP implementation at group level.

Planning the ICT strategy for the Group according to the company vision and CEO inputs, for medium

and long term.

Frequently involved in Business Process analysis for manufacturing, mainly in conection with IT/ERP

implementation, and also for CPM/BI analysis for financial reporting consolidation.

• February 2003 – July 2007 : IT Manager

Complete supervision and management of all the information and communication technology aspects of

the company (4 Italian plants and 3 foreign plants, in Romania, Thailand and Chile).

Coordinating a team of 2 people (in the Italian headquarter) and another one in the Romanian site, the

specific competences are :

Complete management of the company hardware (server, email services, fax services, end user’s PC,

printers, etc.), and software (ERP system and other application and factory packages).

Management and control of LAN and WAN networks, of telecommunication systems, of Telecom

Italia relationships, of all company branches connection and internet access with a particular

orientation to the security aspects.

Direct daily relationships with external companies (partnership or suppliers) for hardware, software,

services and for support and maintenance agreement.

Company data security implementation and disaster recovery procedures design, with particular

attention to privacy issues (Security Document) and ISO9001:2000 quality system.

Internet web site implementation oriented to continuous development of activities allowing

customers direct connections as, for ex., web orders and other facilities.

IT department project evaluation and design, both for technical and economic considerations.

Related on this last aspect, along 2004, it has been implemented the new ERP MBS Navision, which is

operative since beginning of 2005, covering all company areas, from the accounting to the

manufacturing for both the headquarter and Italian, Romanian and Thai plants.

• March 1999 – January 2003 : ERP application consultant (logistics and manufacturing), specifically

oriented to the analysis and the optimisation of customer business processes.

• January 1999 - February 1999, University of Genoa : collaboration by Department of Communication,

Computer and System Sciences for further development connected to the degree thesis software.
