"Leigh Kim is a talented technical writer who communicates and collaborates effectively with coworkers,
supervisors, and customers. I never questioned or regretted the decision to hire Leigh. As Lead Technical
Writer on our largest project, Leigh learned her job while simultaneously training a more junior technical
writer. She learned quickly, asked appropriate questions, and applied her growing knowledge to deliver
superior documents with no associated schedule or budget issues. As Lead Technical Writer on a startup
project, Leigh developed different documents to different standards on a tight schedule/budget. Leigh was
ideal for that position. She quickly learned, developed new processes, and adjusted to the eccentricities of her
new team. In addition to typical technical writer duties, Leigh accepted a variety of other responsibillities. As
her role expanded Leigh became more visible at higher levels of the company and her services were in
increasing demand. Leigh acted as an assistant project manager, although she was never awarded that title.
Leigh developed all the project management documentation and often presented at management reviews. She
worked specifically with our CMMI process improvement effort both for her projects and as an auditor for
other division projects. Leigh was also a valuable member of our proposal development team, instrumental in
acquiring new funding. Not only is Leigh an excellent technical writer, she is also a kind and considerate
person. Leigh was a joy to work with and regularly went out of her way to maintain positive interactions with
those around her. Even when she worked with our more difficult personalities, Leigh remained calm and
composed. I recommend Leigh with no reservations whatsoever. She will be an invaluable asset to any team
that is wise enough to include her. She is both a productive employee and a superior team builder. Losing
Leigh was a horrible loss to our team. I would re-hire her without hesitation if she chose to return -- with or
without an open position. Sincerely, Janet MacKenzie"

"I have had the pleasure of knowing Leigh Taylor Kim for many years, both personally and professionally.
We worked together at the same firm for over eight years, and I was her project manager for over four of
those years. Leigh is a highly skilled technical writer. She is very meticulous both in research and
documentation. Over the four years working with Leigh, she always completed her work on time, usually in
advance of deadlines and was always willing to take on extra work. She has a great attitude and was a
pleasure to work with. Leigh is an innovative self-starter. She is very punctual and is a dedicated professional;
she is a very hard worker and constantly seeks ways to better herself. Leigh is possessed of a quick wit and
absorbs new concepts easily. I believe Leigh would be a highly valuable member of any team, and I give her
a strong recommendation. If you wish to discuss any of Leigh’s qualifications, please do not hesitate to

with an eye for layout and an attention to detail that make her a valuable asset to any project manager. Leigh
is a hard worker and a creative problem solver who excels at managing documentation for projects of any size
across a wide variety of subjects. Most importantly, Leigh has a knack for communicating information from
subject matter experts to the users who need it."
