Production Manager Whitlock Packaging (2010 to 2012)
Choreographed and piloted the purchase and installation of a new capper
head for one of the fillers. This purchase proves to be an asset and
produced over $275,000 in additional capital. This was a comprehensive and
detailed project that decreased loss of raw materials and syrup by 80%.
. Received Recognition Award for leadership, vision, tenacity and
coordination of projects completed on time and under budget with
savings of approximately $3.4 million.
. Exceeded start-up efficiencies by an average of 10% across five new
lines.
. Developed an intense and innovative training and commissioning program
involving operators, and mechanics.
. Implemented professional development training for supervisors that
included labor relations, Human Resources law, employee relations,

Supervised 3 production lead operators and 79 hourly nonunion employees
producing approximately 60,000 cases of product per day on 3 packaging
lines in a High Performance Work Teams environment.

. Initiated and organized safety training programs resulting in zero

. Successfully coordinated and implemented relocation of raw materials and
supplies to make room for a new high speed filler and the ancillary
packaging equipment.

changeover times, raised the competency level of the production
operators, and established long-term maintenance goals.
