Over thirty years of progressively responsible management experience. Past
sixteen years as an Executive Director in Assisted Living Communities.
Responsible for overall day to day operations, financials, and marketing
management of various community sizes, ranging from a 63 bed RCFE, to a 157
bed CCRC, to a 159 bed RCFE, to a 112 bed RCFE community. Will use my
experience as an Executive Director in RCFE'S with resident
services/relations, budget responsibility, employee hiring,
training/development, team building, and quality assurance. I have been
part of successful state surveys of RCFE'S. District Manager and General
manger of various retail and restaurant operations. My objective is to help
make a difference in the daily lives of the residents and family's daily
experiences going forward.

Executive Director 2002 to 2013
Berg Senior Services Concord Royale Concord, California
Managed daily operations of a RCFE over eleven years with 112 rooms with
income over $3,500,000, and increased room rates from $1,600 to $2,900.
Over saw the remodel of the entire community. Also added 9 one-bedrooms and
one two bedroom to the community. Over saw the remodeling of 120 bathrooms
and 102 rooms with our maintenance staff.
. Of the 42 employees at Concord Royale over half have been with me
over 5 years. The Activity Director with me 12 years, A/L Care Director
10 years, Marketing Liaison 7 years, and front office 11 and 9 years
respectfully.
. Our residents and family members enjoyed being part of the community
with interaction and enjoyment with seasonal events and weekly
activities. We include community professionals in our monthly activities
like IN IT to Win IT.
. Expiration date for State Licensing Administrator Certificate for a
RCFE is 7/14/14.
Executive Director/Operations Specialist 2000 to 2002
ARV Assisted Living Walnut Creek, California
Initially employed as an Operations Specialist August 2000 and on April 1,
2001 assumed the role of Executive Director of Montego Heights Lodge. While
at Montego Heights Lodge increased the room rates from $1,700 to $2,000.
. Collected $24,000 in aging accounts, and hired and trained A/L
Director, Marketing Director, Food Service Director, and Maintenance
Director. Discovered over $50,000's in invoices not processed from the
past Director and sent them to corporate for processing. Remodeled
marketing office, refurbished over 50 rooms in community. While as
Operations Specialist filled in as Executive Director at these ARV
communities in Freemont, Campbell, Willow Glenn Villa, and Covell Gardens
until new Directors were hired to manage these communities.
Executive Director 1999 to 2000
Summerville Assisted Living Virginia Creek, Nevada
Managed one RCFE community in Alhambra California and a 157 room CCRC in
Virginia Creek Nevada with income over $4,500,000.
. While at Virginia Creek collected over $125,000 in aging accounts in
a community open less than a year. Discovered over $325,000's in
uncharged invoices to the SNF that we provided food for and invoiced them
for those services.
. Hired and trained a Care Director, Activity Director, and a Marketing
Director.
Executive Director 1997 to 1999
ARV Assisted Living Communities Covina California
While at ARV Covina a 63 bed RCFE community took census from 58% to 94%.
Increased room rates from $1,250 to $1,600.
. Refurbished 45 rooms, and remodeled sales and marketing office.
. Hired, trained two A/L Care Director's, and Marketing Director.
. First A/L Care Director promoted to area training director.
