Engineering Technician
Support development activities on new product introduction and other
product improvement projects. This includes development and validation work
on multiple machine sub-systems including Steering, Implements,
Transmission, Braking, Displays, Off-Board Communications, and Engines.
Actively manage work tasks for the machine and assure that all activities
are properly assigned and executed to further machine development.
2008 - 2012 Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica St. Joseph,

Technician IV, Process Instrumentation Group
Schedule, install, test, calibrate, maintain and repair assigned
instrumentation within assigned time frames. Document performance of
instrumentation through hard copy and/or electronic database, Pro Cal, with
entry into Calibration Management Software, Data-stream, following all
applicable cGxP regulations and requirements. Certification for high
efficiency particulate air filters (HEPA), Laminar Flow Hoods and Pass
through Cabinets. Perform in-depth and advanced troubleshooting on
autoclaves, bioreactors, fermentation systems, WFI stills, utility

Calibration Technician - Team Leader (2007 - 2008)
Based at corporate calibration lab as a technician, I was responsible for
all aspects of a full service ISO 17025 accredited electronics metrology
lab. Instrumentation calibrated such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes,
voltage transducers, current transducers, temperature probes, pressure,
etc. Ensured quality calibrations done correctly and conformed to ISO
accreditation and NIST traceability.
In addition to the technical aspects, I was responsible for six employees
from two different customer sites, Caterpillar Technical Center and
Caterpillar Electronics building, to ensure customer satisfaction and
support continued growth for employer at customer sites.
Calibration Test Technician - Team Leader (2004-2007)
Based at Caterpillar Technical Center, I was responsible for performing
calibration of engine test cells while coordinating the efforts of an
engine test cell calibration team in an ISO 9001 accredited environment.
Job responsibilities included but not limited too; provide daily
coordination of workflow and personnel; provide training of all personnel
by procedures and equipment operation; directed team meetings as well as
one on one meeting with individuals to ensure customer care.
2003 - 2004 Washington Group International Mossville, IL
Instrumentation Repair Technician
Perform preventative maintenance on engine test cells and equipment.
Insure all test cells meet all calibration needs as defined by customers.
Airflow calibrations - leak check down comers in test cells by measuring
the amount of exhaust airflow in any given engine test cell.
