Skills & Abilities
Entry Level Programming and networking skills
Thanks to the coursework I’ve already completed, I have gained familiarity with a wide range of popular
operating systems, programs, and programming languages that are commonly used in a variety of
p rofessional environments around the world, ranging from an advanced beginner’s level of C++, HTML/CSS,
and JavaScript to exposure to various Windows Operating Systems, as well as Linux and Mac OS X, as well as
i nvolvement with knowledge and implementation of security devices in a network environment.
Various software skills learned independently
Not all of the knowledge I have acquired has been as a result of my schooling. On the contrary, it is the
i ndependent knowledge I have obtained that drove the decision to obtain higher education. In my free time, I
am constantly researching new technology and how I can have a part in it. This has resulted in a greater
u nderstanding of programming languages (ranging from C++ to XHTML/CSS and JavaScript), as well as
L inux migration, various levels of Windows OS migrations, and experience with virtual console using
RealVNC.
Attention to detail
T he tedious work of finding the small error that makes a whole system corrupt is not a challenge for me, yet
something I find great joy in. My attention to detail is what makes programming the ideal choice for my
career.
