C linical L icensure Administrator Position
• Alere acquired the Nursing Licensure Department from CVC/Caremark and I
t ransferred to Alere due to the acquisition.
• Responsible for supporting the L icensure Department by ensuring assigned clinician
t eams (Approximately 1,700 Nurses) throughout all States of US including
Puerto Rico obtain and maintain their required Registered Nursing License.
• Ensure all Nursing Licenses are current, active and unrestricted in every state
services are provided.
• Maintains Licensure Database with specific state licensing requirements and in
partnership with clinical professionals gathers and t racks credential information
as required by regulations. Research constantly changing regulations to meet
t hese requirements.
• Assisting clinicians with the procurement of new state licenses.
• Conducting primary source licensure verification at t ime of hire, acquisition of a new
l icense, and post renewal.
• Ensuring clinicians maintain current, active, and unrestricted licenses as required
• Provide notification notices to clinicians of licensure expirations to remain
compliant. Compile expiration reports with progressive action notification to
m anagement levels to assure 100% uptime of license and no expiration
v iolations.
• Compiling and managing new application packets for clinicians.
• Conduct Video Conferencing Training as needed to conduct Licensing Orientation for
t emporary employees.
• Providing management with monthly reports of license inventory, financial
expenses, regulation changes and other business related information.
• Working collaboratively with the Corporate Accounts Payable Department to ensure
t imely request and release of payment for licensure fees.
• Managing a Corporate Credit Card in accordance with policies and procedures

coordinating and reception area coverage.
