PERSONAL STATEMENT

As a graduate from the University of Glamorgan with an honours degree in

Journalism, I have gained a number of transferable skills including

communication, research and copywriting for use in a variety of roles.

Since university and travelling around the world, I have gained a

considerable amount of experience in writing in online and print. I am now

looking for a role in which I can utilise and develop the writing,

copywriting and technical skills I have learnt since university in a

specialised capacity.

KEY SKILLS

. Customer Service - I have a strong background in customer service

having worked as a Customer Service Representative and a Telesales

Advisor.

I have the ability to be patient, I am attentive and I make sure I know

what the needs of my customer are. I am also willing to learn in order to

give the best to my customers.

. Communication - I have written several articles and papers throughout

my time at university in which I have conveyed news, opinions and

balanced opposing views for broad and specific groups of people. As

part of my journalism course I have developed the ability to write for

different audiences.

As an experienced Customer Service Representative I am aware of the

importance of using positive language and communicating in a clear and

comprehensible way.

. Time Management Skills - Through my work experience, I was constantly

managing tasks to a time schedule. I have developed the ability to

prioritise tasks when needed and my organisational skills are

exceptional.

. Problem Solving Skills - As a university student I learned how to

analyse complex information in order to put forward an argument for my

essays and published pieces of work.

As an experienced Telesales Enquiry Advisor I am able to deal

effectively with clients who pose difficult queries by remaining calm

and ensuring the relationship with the client is maintained.

alternative food & drink. I'm also a massive sports fan following Everton

FC and the Welsh rugby union teams.
