Project Experience

Simulation of LTE network on system level (Master Thesis)

•

-Implemented a simulation of FDD LTE network on system level based on Matlab.

-Added TD-LTE into the codes.

-Run the simulation under different schedulers and different traffic patterns. Analyzed the system

performance with respect to the Average UE Throughput and Fairness Index.

-Wrote my thesis based on the simulation results.

Acoustic echo-cancelation using sub-band adaptive filters on LabVIEW (Bachelor Thesis)

•

-Developed sub-band adaptive filter banks on LabVIEW.

-Used the filter banks to cancel acoustic echo in the communication system.

-Added the speech enhancement element after the filter banks.

-Run the simulation, wrote my thesis.

Analysis of the Punctured Convolutional Codes

•

-Simulated the encoding process of a convolutional codes based on Matlab.

-Simulated the punctured convolutional codes.

-Decoded the codes using Viterbi Algorithm.

-Run the simulation, calculated the Bit-Error Rate and compared it with the BER

of the codes before puncturing.

Simulation of a PSK system based on FPGA using VHDL

•

-Wrote the VHDL codes for a PSK system.

-Implement the codes using Quartus.

-Implement it on FPGA.
