To obtain career employment in the legal field with a firm that utilizes my
technical skills/abilities that have been obtained through implementation
over the past twenty-one (21) years. I am a highly motivated, quick

Responsibilities: To prepare new matters from inception to finalization and
closing. Establish personal rapport with the clients (i.e. client
representative, carrier representative) in order to provide support and
efficiency in case handling; rapport with opposing counsel/staff in order
to obtain assistance, scheduling, agreement of extensions/Agreed Orders;
and rapport with Court staff for scheduling of hearings, copies of
documents, etc. Preparation of Correspondence, Status Updates, Motions,
Notices, proposed Orders, Hearing and Trial Notebooks, and Appellate
documents.
Intake of new matters, opening new matters, perform conflict check,
inputting contact information, preparation of retention correspondence with

Responsibilities: Started my career in the legal field as a receptionist,
performing secretarial work at the front desk (filing), moved to the back
office as a "back-up" secretary and assisted with the accounting department
for billing, proceeded to climb the corporate ladder to work as a
secretary/paralegal for the Owner/Partner, Eric Peterson. In addition,
acquired a "lead paralegal" position for an Associate Trial Attorney,
Heather Bush. Utilized as a "floater" for new attorneys without secretarial
assistance and would train the new employees on the operating systems and
performance of their job duties.
INTERESTS
I am interested in pursuit of a smaller based firm wherein I am responsible
for the handling/scheduling for a couple of attorneys which are
searching for a paralegal with the technical knowledge and personalized
"hands-on skills" to perform the tasks of case management with minimal
overview.
