dollar expansion project for a pipe and finish steel mill. This involves
oversight for a 24 hour, 7 day per week project, which is currently
supporting 1800 tradesmen. Supervises all LOTO/Commissioning activities,
including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, and directly
supervises a staff of six LOTO Technicians. Develops, implements and

operate and manage 10 MW's of this multi diesel engine power project.
These assets were utilized among four different sites located
throughout the city of Victorville. It involved performing hourly
rounds, monitoring each unit's operation, technically troubleshooting

Co-op Maintenance Manager/Operator . 8-12/2005 5months
Worked for the Alaska village electric co-op maintenance and up-keep on
power plants, as well as the operations and training of power plant
operators. Responsible to fly from plant to plant to ensure units were
running and working properly and limiting units down-time. Also responsible
for all auxiliary equipment related with power production, which included
repairing equipment, or over-hauling diesel engines. Work with Caterpillar
units, Cummins and Detroit Diesel s60s and s50 serious engines.

For the first six months responsibilities included working in parts
department as a materials specialist, duties were: issuing parts, tracing
parts in other areas of the states, receiving parts in working NAM system
and MACO system on computer, doing accountability on parts, cycle counting
to make sure parts are correct. Then transferred to Maintenance Production
Department: As Production Controller assisted the Production Control
Supervisor in the setup of the c-check packages. Communicate and tracked
AOG requirements for air rafts in check. Also provided shift by shift
Maintenance requirements (set up by the production control supervisor) to
the Maintenance Department. Accounted for the enter task cards and non-
routine paper work in the tracking system as it was completed by the
Maintenance department.

Chief Mechanic/Operator . 7/1997-2/2003 7 years
Chief Mechanic, which led to becoming Hydro Plant Maintenance Operator
and then was awarded the position of Chief Hydro Maintenance Operator.
Coordinated Mechanics in repairing and maintaining Mechanical parts of
generating equipment and auxiliaries in all three of their diesel
generation plants. Disassembled malfunctioning machinery and confer
with Superintendent to determine cause of trouble. Assisted workers in
solving work problems, ordering parts, enforced safety. Also worked as
operator as needed for additional shift coverage at swampy and coast
guard plant. Assist plants with inventory and spare parts for machines
and auxiliaries. Responsible for taking readings on diesels engines
when in operation.
Transferred to the Terror Lake Hydro Project to assist with
hydroelectric generators, where provided operations support,
maintenance on two 11.5 megawatts hydro turbines/generators, worked on
all auxiliary equipment, road maintenance, building maintenance and
heavy equipment and as well as operate heavy equipment, read blue
prints and tech manuals. Worked on computer with MapCon and DOS.
Worked with power tools and measurement tools. Purchased parts and
miscellaneous equipment, transferring of diesel fuels and gas, worked
with other operators on overhaul on both units from top to bottom.

Worked on all equipment for three powerhouses. Assisted in transfers
of lube oils, and helped in overhauls of all four-enterprise diesel
engines, using power tools, technical manuals, measurement tools, blue
prints and drawings.

Co-generation 7.5 megawatts power plant in Glennallen, AK.
Requirements included overhauls on enterprise diesel engines, Fairbanks
Morse diesel engines and all auxiliary equipment. Also wired fire alarm
systems and performed electrical work. Read blue prints and technical
manuals to help troubleshoot units during trips and downtime. Also
responsible for fuel receiving and monitored and logged it in monthly
reports. Transferred to Valdez hydro power plant as one of their
dispatchers in the plant. Responsible for shift reports, work orders, and
system checks.
UNITED STATES NAVY
Chief Engineer (04)LTCDR . 1982-1993
Duties including to operate, repair, and perform maintenance on internal
combustion engines, refrigeration, air conditioning equipment, gas
turbines, ship board auxiliary equipment, align and operated drain systems,
stripping system, machinery cooling water systems, oil systems and
purification systems for fuel and oils, align steam system, operated and
secured internal combustion engines, steam distilling plants, compressed
air systems, recorded pressures and temperature readings on all operating
equipment. Conducted tests on lubrication oils and distilled fuels,
operated and maintained auxiliary boilers, maintained tools, overhauled
valves, performed preventive maintenance on auxiliary equipment, tested
electro-hydraulic steering systems, inspected for leaks on reduction gears
and thrust bearings, installed and removed flanges shields and flanges on
piping systems, fabricated and fitted tubing and flex hoses assemblies. Did
maintenance on hydraulic system using data system forms, blue prints,
