Responsibilities:

• Developed MapReduce code to unzip the zipped files in HDFS.

• Used Flume to move source files from edge nodes to HDFS.

• Sqooped data from DB2 to HDFS.

• Used Pig to perform filtering and transformation and stored in Hive external tables.

• Loaded the data to target Hive tables in ORC format.

• Used Oozie and Falcon to schedule and trigger these jobs into a single workflow.
