• Responsible for 4 Maintenance techs, a janitor, and 2 Security team members and the

maintenance of a 256,000 square foot building.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance log system of all

distribution center equipment and systems. This will include, but will not be limited to conveyor

systems, tote repairs, compressors, pallet wrapping machines, computer cabling, also scheduling

the city counter vehicles for repairs in house or at an outside shop and perform the preventive

maintenance of the vehicles in house.

• Prioritize the daily workload to effectively address issues involving the facility and

building grounds including structural components, electrical systems, plumbing, roofing,

painting, carpentry, outside grounds maintenance, etc.

• Responsible for the development, training, and daily supervision of assistant maintenance

supervisor, maintenance specialist(s) and custodian(s).

• Develop and implement project work Log/Order repair system for team members to

utilize for issues of equipment or repair. Maintain team productivity status and develop reports

on staff productivity for DC manager.

• As a safety supervisor I am responsible in assuring all team members utilize appropriate

PPE, complete all OSHA training, and all DC safety issues are addressed with the highest

priority. Also as a safety supervisor I am responsible for a weekly safety inspection of the

building and report any safety violations immediately to our DC Manager and all affected team

members involved and to report weekly to our DC Manager and Supervisors the discrepancies

found. I also assist in the investigation of any health or safety incidents.

• Onsite supervisor of construction projects including remodels and new construction.

Assure that all outside contractors adhere to all safety policies and procedures and contractors

complete all required corporate documents.

• Use sound, cost effective bidding and procurement principles when purchasing supplies,

equipment, or services for the DC. Responsible for tracking purchase order receivables, and

invoices for maintenance department following a maintenance budget.

• Assist the DC manager in developing and planning annual capital expenditure requests.
