Completed 225 clinical hours in Surgical- Trauma Intensive Care and stepdown units. Participated in the care of multiple trauma clients with acute disease processes and comorbidities. Collaboration with physicians and other disciplines according to acuity and discharge needs. Client population included motor vehicle. stabbing. falls and trauma patients ranging in ages from 16-82. Many required ventilatory support and critical care management. Assessed, diagnosed and treated patients with subdural hematomas, lumbar stenosis, lumbar compression, and witnessed surgical repairs of each of them.
