I am applying for a position of Health & Safety Officer within your company. I am a safe and conscientious person and have experience working on a mine in the construction phase as well as other construction sites. I am very familiar with camp life, the dynamics, rules and expectations and can fit into any environment easily.

I am very conscious and diligent to all aspects of safe work practices and adhere to all rules and regulations. I have strong interpersonal skills; work very well independently and in a team environment. I am extremely organized and put a lot of thought and detail into any reports I write. I operate with integrity, honesty and work hard to ensure all employees work safe and get involved through ongoing crew talks, education and united participation. -Hauled dirt from the pit to the dam in a Cat 777 Haul Truck.

-Operated 10 tonne 3502 Hamm, Bomag and Cat Packer to pack the soil on the dam.

-Joined the Health and Safety Committee with North American Construction Group to assess and try to eliminate safety issues on site.

-As of April 16, 2015 I have been operating a 250 and 300 John Deere Rock Truck, 240D John Deer, 6,000 gallon water truck for site dust suppression, fuel truck filling generators and heavy equipment, swamper for 4500 water truck, swamper and driver for 750, 6-shift flat deck for site cleanup.

-Safety Coordinator/OFA3 for a work force of 250+ operational/subcontractors.

-Pre-trip Safety vehicle daily and pilot SPL crew onto/off site daily (16km).

-Work Site Safety Inspection.

-Monthly Field Level Hazard Assessment Audit.

-Assemble orientation package for new hires and subcontractors.

-Dasque Cluster and Environmental Orientation for all new people hired; review with a checklist and a short quiz; enter information on computer and make a new personnel file.

-20-minute tutorial on avalanche rescue until new hires can attend the official avalanche training course.

-Safely shuttle TCM Operations staff from Mackenzie to site and back on active logging roads and maintain radio communication with logging trucks and grader operators to maintain safety of passengers.

-Crew Bus Driver/Warehouse Assistant.

-Driving staff from the camp site to the main office daily and pick/drop off staff and/or interviewees from/to various towns.

-Drive down active logging roads without incident; monitoring radios and gauging where an oncoming logging truck will be to ensure safety of passengers.

Warehouse Assistant: receiving and shipping freight manually / maintaining inventory of all supplies and dispersing them accordingly as to who placed the order (sign out sheet to maintain integrity of stock).
