• Developed a first class service to support sites and the requirements.

• Directed, planned, administered and controlled preventive, corrective, breakdown maintenance & major overhaul including modifications, installations, testing, inspecting and commissioning of various rotating machinery and equipment such as heavy and light duty equipment and vehicles, air compressors, power generators, recycling systems, air conditioning, etc.

• Managed the overall operations (maintenance & mobilizing new projects) along with inventory, and assets management activities relating to equipment

• Set up maintenance long term plans, work procedures and work instructions. Monitor work schedules; established job priorities by setting goals

• Prepared preventive maintenance programs, service and overhaul schedules for company equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s requirements, operational criteria and safety standards

• Maintained spare parts and tools inventory to ensure that equipment and materials are 2

available for repair. Followed up with procurement department for required materials and ensured availability on site on required dates

• Carried out risk assessments for different tasks and develop control measures based on risk level for minimizing accidents/incidents for all lifting activities. Ensured that staff and workers comply with safety rules and regulations, regular training of safety procedures and safety audits

• Worked on Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO) using various functions (work initiation, planning, completion and approval, contract requisition, material requests, service orders, etc.).

• Looked after manpower requirements; carried out technical & personal interviews for supervisors, technicians etc. in coordination with HR. Selected and recruited candidates based on their academic and technical qualifications. Ensured that staff has the required knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. Prepared annual performance appraisals for staff

• Provided periodic reports, evaluations and cost analysis which highlights the equipment performance

• Extended technical and service support for other disciplines in the company. Worked on continuous improvements, reviewed service terms and recommended changes

• Proper utilization and allocation of assets. Prepared reports and performed analysis for every asset. Carried out technical and financial evaluation of assets. Arranged for upgrading of old assets to extend their life and save cost

• Performed life cycle costing for critical equipment and made recommendations for the selection of suitable equipment
