Project: Design and fabrication of fully automatic coconut cutting machine. Description: The project design consists of a rotating blade, rotating V shaped holder, and a mechanism to direct the coconut into the holder. 1 hp single phase motor is used to run the system and the drive from the motor is transferred from the motor to the components at desired speed ratio using belt and pulley and worm gear.

Scope: The machine has use in virgin coconut oil manufacturing industries, pilgrim centers and large coconut plantations.
