Title : Telecom Warehouse

Environment : Informatica 9.5.0, Oracle 10g/11g.

Description :

Hybrid Subscription Warehouse is value-added service (VAS) company which offered content management, mobile advertising, ring tones, phone backup, voice portals and voice SMS.We receives log files for each Telecom Operator based on new subscribers list, new subscriptions for various VAS services on Daily Basis which needs to be reformatted as per business logic and later will be loaded to Dimension and fact tables. These data warehouse is mainly for purpose of data analysis, report generation based on various operators, various subscriptions during a span of time and helpful in decision making. Source will be flat files which are logs generated on daily basis based on calls routed to server.

Project Roles and Responsibilities:

Preparation and presentation weekly status report for client, interactions with client for project related matters.

Implemented ETL solution using Informatica.

Analyzing Source System data and preparing low-level documentation.

Working on Informatica – Source Analyzer, Target Designer, Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer, Mapplet, Transformations, and workflow manger.

Developed data Mappings between source systems and warehouse components using Mapping Designer as per the business requirements.

Used most of the Transformations such as Source Qualifier, Aggregator, Lookup, Filter, Sequence generator, Router, Update strategy etc.

Created mapplets for reusable business process.

Extensively used ETL to load data from Oracle and Flat files to Data Warehouse.

Performed unit testing and validated the data.
