City corporation approval process; Liaising with corporation engineer during inspection.

Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope; Calculating resources; Allocating resources; Scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors.

Checking the plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of the calculation. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.

Have seen the model of reinforcement for slab, staircase etc.. and various kind of knots and bending the rods were studied used during reinforcement.

Details studied were done about Mivan shuttering which was an latest technology in construction field.

Nippon paints Chennai, TN.

In Nippon paints, we had direct exposure on plant were paints and pigments are tested and also manufactured.

We have seen the preparation of enamel paints and packing methods. And also visited the water treatment plant of Nippon paints.

Had direct interaction with executive engineer about the plant working mechanism.

Workshops

Prefabricated structures Trichy, TN.

In this workshop we have studied about the different types of construction techniques, types of joints, handling of structures, Transportations of structures.

And stress behaviors of membrane, Disunity of structures, actions of thermal coefficient were studied.

Urban planning Trichy, TN.

Using some model and certain example calculation of populations were studied and planning of cities were shown.

Using latest technology population density can be seen, so that requirement can be calculated were studied.

Achievements

Have won bronze medal in paper presentation under the topic of Stabilization of pond water which was held by mahalakshmi engineering college, Trichy.

Have won sliver medal in poster presentation under the topic of Utilization of Algae from diary waste which was organized by J.J college of engineering, Trichy.
