Education

Masters in Mechanical Engineering - University of Texas at Arlington Dec. 2017 GPA 3.4 Courses: Structural Aspects of Design, Finite Element Methods, Analytic Methods of Engineering, Energy Technology(Electro Chemistry, Cell Chemistry), Design for Manufacturing, Fluid Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Control Systems Synthesis

Bachelors in Mechanical Production Engineering - Osmania University, Hyderabad, India May 2015 GPA 3.8 Courses: Metallurgy & Material Science, Heating & Refrigeration, Machine Design, Mechanics of Material, Fluid Dynamics, Basic Electronics, Control Systems, Production Drawing, Product Planning & Operations Research Management Certification

Certified Manufacturing Engineer – University of Texas at Arlington

Siemens certified training on projects using Unigraphics (UGNX)

FE – EIT exam scheduled in April 2018

Technical Skills

Design/Modelling: Siemens Unigraphics (UGNX), SolidWorks, AutoCAD- Mechanical, MATLAB, Mathematica, REVIT

Finite Element Analysis: Altair HyperMesh – Optistruct, RADIOSS Office Suite: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Machines/Processes: Injection molding, casting, welding, measurement and hardness testing, lathe, milling machines Projects

Analysis And Simulation of Manufacturing Components Aug-Dec 2017 Analyze given mechanical components using HyperMesh, set up constraints, vary material properties, control process and analysis data, extrude component to read effect of temperature, pressure, velocity and other parameters. Consider finite element analysis, observe fatigue, failure tests and simulate the results.

Design and Analysis of Bike Towing Device Feb-May 2017 Remodeled product design on SolidWorks to ensure safe towing of riderless bike without effect on performance. Develop House of Quality & Product Architecture improvising strength and feasibility with optimal cost. Proposed and analyzed 3 variants in design using AutoCAD and Finite Element Analysis and comparison with DFMEA, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) for reliability.

Development of Bi-Functional Catalysts for Solar Water Splitting Feb-May 2016 Implemented solar water splitting techniques and feasibility of bi-functional catalysts, to enhance photo catalysis. Studied different cell configurations for solar energy conversion and storage, making use of semiconductor materials, electro catalysts and reflect improvements by varying TurnOver Number (TON) and Quantum Yield (QY).

Design and Fabrication of Steam Power Plant (Prototype) Dec 2014-May 2015 Design the model on SolidWorks and fabricate 1.2mm thick boiler using Steam Traps and ball float valves. Connect turbine blades to DC generator shaft (gear ratio 5:24). This voltage acts as input to CD4047 astable/monostable multi vibrator IC. AC output is connected to IRF540 n-channel power MOSFET, steps up to 230V AC output at 50Hz frequency. The output is tested by glowing of compact fluorescent lamp. Such prototypes optimize electric cost and provide optimal performance for small scale households. Work Experience

Mechanical Design Engineering Intern, Design Tech Systems, Hyderabad, India May-Aug 2017 Read 2D drawings of mechanical components, consider standards (ASME Y14.5M) and GD&T. Prepare 3D model, draft and assemble on Siemens Unigraphics (UGNX). Use HyperMesh for modal and buckling analysis of sheet metal, plastics and BIW components. Consider FEA, design considerations, PLM and generate BOM for parts and assemblies.

Parking Facilities Associate, University of Texas at Arlington, USA Jan –Dec 2017 Assist students and visitors with university parking. Facilitated team to issue parking tickets, maintain time record, organize parking spots for vehicles in multi-level parking garage. Manage smooth flow of cars without obstruction to students. Technical Paper

Linear Friction Welding on Dissimilar Metals, International Journal of Modern Engineering Research-IJMER, India Dec 4, 2014 http://www.ijmer.com/papers/Vol4_Issue12/Version-3/E0412_03-3845.pdf (Vol.04 Issue.12) Acknowledged weldability, response of weld parameters on Titanium-Stainless Steel Joints with Nickel Interlayer.
