• As a term project Neural Netwoks were applied to characterize and predict production rates in a small area of San Ardo field, CA. Only with published production data, we could identify two zones with different behavior that later were validated by operations information obtained in a communication with the operator. • Performed a term project about optimization of a water flooding using smart well completions (ICVs and fiber optic sensors) in the SPE 10 model. Higher sweep efficiency and a 3.5% of daily oil production increase were obtained compared to a conventional completion. SKILLS
