PDVSA, DISTRITO CABRUTICA & MELONES OIL FIELD – VENEZUELA

Worked at the Orinoco Oil Belt as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for 300+ active oil wells with artificial lift systems including progressing cavity pumps (PCP), Sucker Rod Pumps, and electric submersible pumps.

Worked with respective multiphase pumping system used to transfer crude oil to the processing facilities. Delivered a daily production rate of 95000 bpd while meeting required specifications.

Scheduled and supervised inspections of flow lines of diluent and oil wells. Identified failed equipment for maintenance and reported safety hazards.

Coordinated oil well production tests to optimize and control oil, gas, and water production.

Provided formal reports to upper management on daily crude oil production. Reported on daily production forecast compared to oil field performance including oil well production tests, artificial lift systems performance, and field equipment performance (multiphase pumps and processing facilities).

Monitored processing facilities and surface equipment performance including separators, dehydrators, degassers, oil storage vessels, and oil/gas gathering & treatment facilities.
