CODING EXPERIENCE

RestaurantR

Javascript, HTML/CSS, Atom, MongoDB, Postman, Jest, React, Zomato API, and Google Geolocation

RestaurantR was a web app that allowed a group of friends to vote on a choice of restaurants in a given area. The app then processed the list and chose one at random. The lists were filtered by taste preferences, cuisines, price, and location.

Personally contributed to the database, server, geolocation, “genie”, styling, and buttons. I added a hover function to the buttons using CSS that changed the colors from maroon to silver.

Assassins

Javascript, HTML/CSS, MySQL, Postman, Jest, React-Native

Assassins was based on a high school role-playing game. Each player is assigned a target and the objective is to be the last remaining assassin. You hunt down your target and “kill” them (poisoning with hot sauce, tossing foam grenades, stabbing with a spoon, etc.) The app destroyed players via a “kill” button.

Contributed to the database, server, routes, ghost room(the waiting room for the eliminated players), design, and creative writing.
