• Managed all legal issues related to the Verizon Center and its operations

• Analyzed legal issues, drafted key documents, presented clear recommendations, and assured legal compliance

• Prepare and manage legal filings with appropriate institutions

• Led engagement with all D.C. Government regulatory bodies to negotiate and secure licenses and permits for major Verizon Center events including the Washington International Horse Show, Ringling Brothers Circus, major concerts and all sporting events

• Negotiated expedited delivery of permits for time sensitive requests (i.e., liquor permits, street/lane closures, etc.) as a result of close business relationships

• Led legal process for drafting and finalizing all sponsorship agreements, a major part of the organization’s core revenue streams

• Managed engagement with third-party entities including law firms, insurance companies, and individual litigants to bring issues to swift and favorable resolution
