REENGINEERING

MANAGEMENT

■ Earned the Green Emerald Award for Leadership from the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) for implementation of a roof recycling program, diverting 270K square feet of roof debris away from landfills during replacement of 4 EPDM commercial roofs. REGULATORY

COMPLIANCE

■ Secured a change in status from large quantity generator (LQG) to conditionally exempt small quantity generator (CESQG), greatly reducing the regulatory burdens associated with an LQG rating, and reducing hazardous waste from >1K kilograms to <100 kilograms/month. RECYCLING

PROGRAMS

■ Achieved a 95% recycle rate of waste from a 460K sf industrial environment, reducing the amount of waste from the printing facility from 40-50 tons per month to just 9 tons of one compactor load per month. Implemented a desk-side recycling program. PROJECT

CONSOLIDATION

■ Relocated the entire suburban news production facility to the Dispatch printing facility, planning and executing move within just 3 months including modifying the infrastructure to meet the needs of the organization. Consolidated distribution sites to create 4 “Super DCs”. HOUSEKEEPING

SERVICES

■ Vetted, selected, and managed housekeeping vendors for all facilities, developing RFQ for service contracts to ensure Dispatch Media Group was defining contractors’ requirements resulting in substantial savings (30%) and improved service level agreements. ENERGY REDUCTION ■ Led the AEP Continuous Energy Improvement Committee, generating 3-year savings of nearly 2M kw of energy, equating to $180K in financial savings. RELATIONSHIP
