Qualifications
Offer exceptional technical skill, leadership, and customer service in maintaining, cleaning, inspecting, and repairing building systems (HVAC, boilers, electrical, plumbing, etc.), carpentry, and appliances. Maintain common areas, stock parts and supplies needed for repairs/maintenance, inspect facilities, and coordinate with outside contractors to complete needed repairs.
●Provide technical guidance and direction while prioritizing work schedules for fellow technicians and subordinates
●Regularly inspect and perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient building system operations
●Monitor, adjust, and optimize the operation of building systems to maximize safety, comfort, and efficiency
●Clean common areas, landscaping beds, parking lots, stairwells to maintain appearance standards
●Order parts for repairs, maintenance and upgrades/installations to optimize stock on hand and completion time
●Respond to, diagnose and troubleshoot routine and emergency requests for maintenance; log all observations and actions
●Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs
●Safely operate power tools, pressure cleaners, compressors, sprayers, hand tools and ladders/lifts while completing duties
●Repair/replace defective equipment and consumables; perform detailed inspections of building systems and grounds
●Assign/program access cards for tenants; take periodic readings from submeters, and perform other admin tasks as needed
